Help us Build a Classroom
Our Classroom in Humpat At Teach-to-Heal, we believe every child deserves the space and resources to learn and grow. That’s why we are supporting the creation of a new classroom at Humpat School in Ghana—a classroom that will primarily serve the school’s students while also being available for Teach-to-Heal’s educational programs. Currently, the school has multiple classrooms, but there are more classes than available rooms. As a result, two or three classes often share a single space, making learning crowded and challenging. This new classroom will give students the room they need to focus, play, and thrive.
For nine years, the head teacher and school owner, Madam Regina, has dreamed of building a proper classroom, a space where every child has room to learn, play, and grow. During our visit, we spent much time with her and while cooking together, laughing, dancing we talked at length about her dream. Hearing her story and sharing those moments inspired us to do everything we could to help make it a reality.
This new classroom will:

Reduce Overcrowding: Work towards the goal of each class having its own space, creating a better learning environment for all students.

Provide a Nursery for Youngest Children: A safe and welcoming space for early learners.

Empower the Community: Teach-to-Heal can also use the classroom to deliver health education lessons, including wound care, CPR, and infection prevention.

Support Resources & Supplies: Textbooks, learning materials, and practical equipment will ensure students can thrive.
